A piece of aluminium that looks to be hand crafted is being regarded as evidence of extraterrestrial visitation on Earth 250,000 years ago.
The discovery of the mysterious metal chunk was actually made back in 1973, but was kept a secret – up until now.
Testing of the metallic object revealed it was made of up to 12 metals, being 90 percent aluminium, and Romanian officials had dated the object to be around 250,000 years old. These initial results were also confirmed later on by a lab in Lausanne, Switzerland.
If this is true, the significance of the find would be huge – according to traditional history, humans didn’t work with metallic aluminium until around 200 years ago.
The actual discovery of the object back in 1973 was made by builders working near the Mures River, near the central Romanian town of Aiud. They found 3 objects 10 metres deep, which appearing unusual and very old. Archaeologists were brought in to investigate and almost immediately identified 2 of the objects as being fossils.
The third piece – the aluminium object – looked like a piece of man made metal, was very light, and was initially suspected to be the end of an axe. All of the objects were then sent to the main regional city of Cluj for further analysis.
The other 2 objects were eventually identified at bones from a large extinct mammal that died between 70,000 and 80,000 years ago. You could imagine how stunned the experts were to find that the third object was a lightweight metal that appeared to had been manufactured.
The concavities and shaping of the object makes it look as if it is part of a larger mechanical system.
There are some historians however that believe it is incorrectly dated and it is a part of a WWII German aircraft. Now, the debate is heating up as to whether it is a 250,000 year old manufactured piece of a UFO, or a WWII plane part.
GHEORGHE COHAL, THE DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF THE ROMANIAN UFOLOGISTS ASSOCIATION, TOLD LOCAL MEDIA: ‘LAB TESTS CONCLUDED IT IS AN OLD UFO FRAGMENT GIVEN THAT THE SUBSTANCES IT COMPRISES CANNOT BE COMBINED WITH TECHNOLOGY AVAILABLE ON EARTH.’
